Looking back on nearly 20 years of experience as a freelance medical translator, no challenge is too great and no job too small for me. Whether pure science or popular science: I can provide you with translations of your monographs, health and fitness guides, studies, abstracts, expertises, press releases, or scientific papers. All translations are done in a grammatically correct, technically accurate, and culturally appropriate form.
Having worked in the field of editing for many years, I also provide localisation jobs such as summarisation, shortening, or editing. This may be necessary if books have to be adapted prior to being launched on the German market, e.g. due to differences in therapy schemes etc. I have acquired the linguistic tools necessary for the job during my course in Applied Linguistics, Translation and Interpreting at Saarland University.
Working for a large number of medical publications such as Arzt heute, Ärzte Zeitung, Natura med and Natur- und Ganzheitsmedizin I have acquired the necessary technical competence for the job. My client base further includes renowned publishing houses, press and translation agencies, pharmaceutical compagnies and health care magazines.
